Sambu
Sambu is a customizable, widget-based dashboard for students and young adults living in Norwegian kollektiv. Each household gets a drag-and-drop grid (react-grid-layout) of self-contained widgets that adapt from phone to TV/kiosk. Widgets pull real data from real sources: live departures from Entur, hourly spot prices from hvakosterstrommen.no, and municipal waste-collection schedules. Chores support rotation, manual, and voluntary assignment; the shared shopping list syncs in real time with optimistic updates across every housemate's device. Built as a Bun + Turborepo monorepo with a type-safe tRPC API, Drizzle/PostgreSQL, and BetterAuth, where each widget ships its own router and schema behind a single registry contract.
